Smuggled items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that hide only small items within the scenery or objects directly. Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions. It lets players unlock various starting locations, smuggled objects, and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players to create the perfect mission for each task. Gear Slot Early on in the game players will find their gear slots rapidly become full, resulting in the dreaded “Your Gear Slots are Full” message which prevents Max from selecting new equipment until the old ones are removed or space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this issue. They give players more inventory space to complete challenges. Since a lot of these challenges could be missed and are scattered around the globe, it might take some time to obtain the maximum number inventory slots available in the game. A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different gear types, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In begins. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot. Agents can pick up the passengers. As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store items that do not fit in your concealed weapon or gear slots and then retrieve it later. However, you can only conceal one item per game at an agency pickup location. This DLC also adds new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. To begin these missions just talk to the receptionist of the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once progressive slots have reached the mission marker you can identify a crowd upon arrival.
